While the whole world has been come to halt with the pandemic Coronavirus or Covid-19, people are eagerly waiting at their home for the arrival of news regarding corona vaccination. The fear in every other person’s eye to get inflicted with corona can be easily seen. Going to the nearest supermarket seems like going to war. To make it worse, there might be more such pandemics in the future as predicted by some experts.

There is still no medicine or pill to cure coronavirus. The best way to remain safe is to avoid going to a public place and staying at home.  Secondly, follow all tips to strengthen your immune system. The more powerful your immune becomes, the more resistant you will become to fight against any virus be it corona or any other future virus.

Being Immune is the key to win against any such deadly virus

If we want to remain safe in the future, we have to build our immune system such as a powerful warrior to face any such pandemic. We should strictly follow habits that are efficient in making a strong immune system. Statistics reveal that persons with lower immunity are more prone to get affected by viruses.

1. Shoo away your Stresses

Yes, stress is the main culprit of bad immunity. It makes you weaker and lowers your immune system. Try to follow a positive lifestyle with activities which make you more relax and happy. Follow your passion and make a habit to spend 30 minutes on activity which you love to do. There can be different activities like gardening, yoga, dancing, walking, running,  cooking,  reading, and many more. Try to choose any one of your favorite activity in which you get fully engrossed for a while and forget all your worries.

Also, try to wake up before the sun and do 30 minutes stretching followed by mediation, reading your motivational corner, and then sip your herbal tea.

Read more of the motivational books. It helps us to motivate and live fully in our lives. There are beautiful lines of a famous book “The Monk who sold Ferrari” written by Robin Sharma.

You truly cannot afford the luxury of a negative thought – not even one.

“To live life to the fullest, you must stand guard at the gate of your mind and let only the very best information enter.  You truly cannot afford the luxury of a negative thought – not even one.  The most joyful, dynamic, and contented people of this world are no different from you or me in terms of their makeup.  We are all flesh and bones.  We all come from the same universal source.  However, the ones who do more than just exist, the ones who fan the flames of their human potential and truly savor the magical dance of life do different things than those whose lives are ordinary.  Foremost amongst the things that they do is adopt a positive paradigm about their world and all that is in it.” ~ Robin S. Sharma

2. Watch your plate

Try to fill your plates with more fresh and colorful vegetables. Brocolli, mushroom, capsicum, avocado, zucchini, guards, green leaves are all full of nutrients and antioxidants which will surely boost up your immunity if you consume these on a regular basis. Prefer salads rather than pizza. Avoid sugar as much as possible. Include more of garlic, ginger, cinnamon in your diet. These herbs are extra powerful to fight away any flu.

3. Don’t take sleep for granted

7-8 hours of sleep is absolutely necessary for the effective functioning of your body and also to foster your immune system. When life gets busy with unending tasks, sleep is the first thing we neglect often. This is the biggest mistake of people. If we neglect our sleep on a regular basis, our bodies have to face harmful consequences which are not reversible in the long run.  A lack of sleep fails to regulate essential things like appetite control, your immune system, good metabolic function, and your ability to maintain normal body weight.

4. Exercise daily

Regular moderate-intensity exercises are a great way to strengthen your immune system. We have white blood cells in our body which are normally in a sleep state. Exercise mobilizes them by increasing your blood flow, so they can do their surveillance jobs and seek and destroy bacteria in other parts of the body.

Note: Exercise is good for you, but, you should not overdo it. People who already exercise should not exercise more just to increase their immunity. Heavy, long-term exercise (such as marathon running and intense gym training) could actually cause harm. There is also evidence that too much intense exercise can reduce immunity and may even make you sick.

5. Attitude is everything

Expect good things and your immune system will follow. A study of law students found that their immune systems were stronger when they felt optimistic. Respond with a good attitude to increase the chances of the best outcome and to strengthen your immunity.

“Your “I CAN” is more important than your IQ.”
